Athletic Participation for Spring Sports- the following is information regarding eligibility for participation in a spring sport. In order to participate all athletes must have either a valid 2019-20 physical on file or obtain a new physical and submit it to the athletic director via in person or email. You may also upload it on the Activity Registration. All athletes must also either update Step 7 of the Activity Registration or for new athletes must complete a new registration. This can be found by clicking on the following link.

The IHSAA issued guidelines for physicals in June of 2020 and the MSD of Pike Township has followed those guidelines that if a student had a physical on file for the 2019-20 school year and the student had not suffered a concussion or had a surgical procedure since the date of that physical they were eligible to participate. It is also important to understand that as we approach the spring sports for some athletes who completed their physicals in May of 2019 it is approaching almost 2 years since that physical was obtained. Although not required it is something to be considered that a new physical be obtained. If you have any questions about this contact the NAN Athletics office.
